The amazing Catherine Baba was out and about in Paris for the couture shows and she definitely dressed to impress but then again when does she ever not. Even her bicycle exudes glamour!
So sad couture week is over but there sure were some gorgeous collections. Jean Paul Gaultier was once again crazier than ever. He went for an Aztec Mexico/Avatar vibe that was very interesting. Valentino also took on a more youthful approach as they moved the brand forward. I must say those ribbon blindfolds are quite intriguing and innovative.

While looking through the Armani Prive Haute Couture collection at the spectacular evening gowns, this dress caught my eye and made me stop and marvel at its beauty. It was definitely made for a star and I cant wait to see if it gets worn at the Academy Awards.

I get so excited looking at all of the extraordinary clothes of Paris couture week. The following pictures are from Givenchy, Chanel, Dior, and Armani Prive. I think if I ever had the privilege of being at one of these shows watching the masterful creations come down the runway I would die and go to fashion heaven! Anyways I hope to share with you many more of my favorite couture pictures as the week continues so stay tuned for part two.

Kate Hudson proved to be my favorite fashion moment of the golden globes yesterday though I must say few celebs left me disappointed. At first I was a little unsure of the structure of the dress on her but it has definitely grown on me. Plus the fact that you just cant go wrong with Marchesa! Oh and lets not forget about those insane Casedei shoes also seen on Sandra Bullock...I think I'm in love!

So happy its finally the weekend! I cant wait to delve into a good book and catch up on all of my magazines. For me style is all about getting your point of view across while still looking totally effortless and chic. I believe that no one pulls this off quite like Erin Wasson, Jessica Stam, Heidi Mount, and Dree Hemingway. Here are some of my fave pictures to inspire your weekend wardrobes.
